AISI 316 stainless offers superior resistance to chlorides, acids, and aggressive media — essential where brass would corrode. In the UAE, SS316 threaded ball valves are specified for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, swimming-pool (chlorine), RO permeate lines, and marine applications where DZR brass would be inadequate.
What is the PN63 pressure rating and when is it required?
PN63 (63 bar at 20°C) suits hydraulic circuits, compressed gas, high-pressure water injection, and industrial process lines. For standard building water (4–12 bar) and fire-fighting (up to 20 bar), PN63 provides a very substantial safety factor and margin for pressure testing.
